Just got this, and have only used it for a few hours so far, miss so far I'm very impressed with the power that it has and the build quality. If it holds up over the long haul I will be truly impressed.

We got this for Dad for Father’s Day. He really likes it and uses it a lot. It works really well. We were worried it might not have enough power but liked that it was small enough to move around, but we haven’t really encountered anything it couldn’t split.

This machine is excellent .The wood I get for my pizza oven is to large. The Bilt Hard makes short work of breaking down the logs in no time. It’s a solid machine and an excellent investment.

I previously owned a large gas splitter to tie behind my truck. This is my first electric splitter. The light weight, mobile, quiet, yet powerful unit has exceeded my expectations. The box arrived in perfect condition. Full of oil. Easy to assemble. I can’t say enough good things.

I just used new Bilt Hard log splitter and was able to split 4 times the wood I had split by hand in half the time making me 8 times more efficient. The Bilt Hard splitter arrived in excellent shape due to their good packaging and FedEx home delivery service (see attached photo). On opening the 110 pound box, everything was in excellent shape because of the careful and protective packing including .25 inch plywood inside each end of the box and well placed Styrofoam around the log splitter. Thanks to Bilt Hard's chainsaw and log splitter, it will be much easier to stay warm this winter.

This may be the first review I have ever written for anything. I purchased this splitter in May of 2022. Surprisingly powerful and easy to use. I have split several cord. All hardwood. Maple, oak cherry and ash. I had no trouble splitting 10 inch diameter logs as well as some larger. I hesitated a bit on the 5 star rating because the knobs on the bleeder screw and the set screw that adjusts the length of the piston stroke broke almost immediately. (see photos). Not all that unusual when working with this kind of equipment. Would recommend it to a friend.

 All I can say is worth the money 💰 EVERY PENNY I promise! This Log splitter works like a charm and very powerful.

Very compact and does work more than I think 13-15 in can handle if bigger i cut from edge about 2” and step by step splitting this is true and proof my photo

I bought this splitter due to a review on TOH. Definitely after using it over two days to spilt red oak I was very impressed. It handled over about 99% of every log I put on the splitter. I was needing wood for only camping therefore I only cut my logs to around 12" long. The majority of logs though were about 13" in diameter. Every log was busted through with little problem except for larger knots in the red oak. Those I just split around them. But that only happened a couple of times.CONS: You need two hands to operate two switches at the same time to use the splitter. I wished it was only 1 switch. Definitely would make it easier just in case to need to steady the wood.PROS: Very portable and lightweight. But I say don't let that fool you. This splitter handled about everything I put on it. I would definitely recommend this for anyone that needed a small portable, lightweight splitter. As you can see by the photos, I shouldn't need any wood for a while.

This wood splitter exceeded my expectations. Easy to operate and more power than I expected.Push a button to engage the motor and push down a lever to engage the hydraulic slave cylinder.Knots were a problem but I worked around them. I would say easily splits logs up to 13 inches.A real beast for the money.
